Challenge #4 and Etiquette!

My my my. Let's start with the "etiquette" part of this entry.

I had a new follower earlier this week, and was quite delighted to have had someone start following the blog all on their own, as one is want to do!  However, he would seem to be some sort of bizarre follower-whore who simply starts "following" every single person who begins following another blog.  (are you following me?)

And so I blogblocked him.  Is that cruel?  I just... felt a little dirty.  Especially because now he's all over your (my real followers) blogs.  I've unleashed this scourge upon  you and now I'm letting you know that I'll bring you the vaccine, just tell me where to meet you!

But I digress, 

The time has come for yet another writing challenge.  This week, as it is still February... the month of love... (and breast cancer, and african american history...) I thought perhaps we should write a series of haikus for george washington carver, inventor of peanut butter (among many other great things) 

It can really be about anything you like, so long as it involves good ol' georgie, and some delightful peanut based snack.  I'll probably incorporate love and asphyxia, but your subject-matter is up to you!

Just a little note to let you all know that, due to the ridiculous nature of the "verification words" Sam and I have started a blog dedicated to the definitions of Verification Words.

Should you have a particularly hilarious word, please add it to your comment!  Cause, I comment a lot... but I could use options.   Thinking up definitions for "words" like Spolub is all in good fun.

circuitous indeed, today.

I keep starting posts, but then I can't finish them.  They take a turn in the middle and become incoherent.  

"Uh... where was the [expletive] point?!" I keep asking myself.  Regardless.  I'm off to get some work done now that I'm frustrated with my blogging abilities this morning.  

But I've got 5 posts in the works.  Somewhere between started and postable but dangerously close to crap. So... I guess they'll have to wait until I have re-mastered focus.

Addiction

I've been reading a lot of blogs recently to take up some of the copious amounts of alone-time I have.  (alone-time is not a standard in my life.  Generally speaking, I don't have any. And in a week I will once again be alone-time free.  I can't wait)

Aside from this "multidabbler," I have a blog for my business that has gained a local following (hey, three people can be a following, right?!) although to be honest, sometimes I check the "Site stats" and wonder just how many of the 92 hits yesterday were from me checking to see what the status of my "poll" was.  oops. 

Anyway, I've found a few that I really like and enjoy.  Two funny, one hilarious, one saucy, one sauce-y and three crafty.   Ohhhh, if only they seemed to have as much free time to complete their stories as I seem to have!  Cause I could read about the saucy one's exploits for days and still be enthralled I think.  Quite comical. Unfortunately, believe it or not, all blogs have a beginning point! And I think I found all of them.

And now, to plant flowers in horse troughs.
