I like to start things, and not finish them.
It's kind of like multi tasking. But multi taskers generally finish what they're up to. I, on the other hand, start things and then dont finish them. Dabbling in multiple activities. Multidabbler.
Perhaps if I had two heads (hence my ridiculous photo...) I would finish some things...
exhibit a: 1/2 of my christmas presents to other people are about 2 out of 25 steps from being finished. (yes, christmas was 3 weeks ago. thanks for rubbing it in.) Oh, and the other 1/2, you ask? Well, they're about 23 out of 25 steps from being finished. Looks like I've got a lot of Christmas-themed birthday gifts to give out this year!
exhibit b: My bakery is still missing gas. BUT to my credit, I got as far as I could go before the gas company decided to take 3 days to get back to me... oh, woops, now it's the weekend. FIVE days.
exhibit c: Last thursday I started a new hobby. I'm embroidering a BUNCH of tea towels. You know, those towels you use to dry dishes? Your grams probably has a bunch with lillies and cherries on them. Mine have hilarious text messages, my pets' names, my business logo (CUFFIN'S!!!), and some even have somewhat bastardized versions of my husbands artwork.
I guess we'll see where it goes from here. But so far, it's my favorite hobby outside of "reading" books (yeah, mostly they're audio books). And I can do them at the same time in the 3 hours a day I spend NOT working.
Back to txt embroidery: 11:29pm reading eclipse in bed, fully dressed in case of earthquake or sudden friendship.
did I mention we all love twilight and we're over 24? (hell, even if we were just barely over 15 this would still be embarrassing)
